Urgent 6 and 8

Urgent! As of today, there are only 6 days left to enter a movie in M33M, and only 8 days left before your fine booty (and the booties of at least ten of your bestest friends) must be firmly planted in seats at the State Theatre for the 2015 Winter Micro Movie Marathon! Minor mayhem, Major Awards and local MOVIES 3 minutes (or less) long.

You must enter your movie by 11:59 PM on Monday, February 16, 2015 – follow the entry guidelines. The Michigan Movie Makers Micro Movie Marathon is the première showcase for regional short movies of every stripe and there are just 6 days left to get yours done and entered. No where else in the world are movies from, about or kinda related to Michigan’s north western lower peninsula celebrated as rigorously!

Enter by next Monday eve or else miss out on the recognition you so richly deserve. Did we mention Major Awards? 6 days left, hurry!

Then on Wednesday, February 18 at the State Theatre, be in your seats by 6:30 pm for the show. There ARE NO previews, the show starts immediately! Arrive at 6:00-6:15 and snatch your favorite snacks or just do some tai chi / yoga in the lobby to properly prepare yourself both physically and mentally for what’s to come.

The State Theatre seats 530, and M3’s crack imagineers are in the process of retooling the slightly chaotic M33M audience voting scheme to handle full capacity. Help us fill the State Theatre! If you’re on Facebook, join the M33M event and invite every Michigan friend you’ve got. Tweet, Instagram, do your social media thang. Otherwise just text / call / kidnap your 10 best friends, we’re counting on you.
