For those who aren’t aware, we are currently reconstructing our organization and our website. There are very exciting things happening and awesome resources soon to be launched.
If you have read about it and wonder why am I bothering you about it again…I promise, it’s for a good reason. Just bear with us.
Emails
The most important thing I want to let you know is that we are changing up our mailing lists. With all the new changes happening, we don’t want to bug you about specific things if you are only interested in one area. Pretty soon, you will be able to subscribe to the lists you truly care about. If you just want to know when Networking nights are scheduled, then you can subscribe to our events emails. The subscriptions will be purely managed by you.
This decision is a result from some things we heard through the grapevine from you. You are important to us as part of our local film community and we want you to let us know these things to help us grow.
Volunteers
The last thing I’d like to quickly share is that we are currently seeking Volunteers. Some of these roles may have the opportunity in the future to become a paid position, but it may take some work getting us there. The time needed is whatever you can give us. Finally, I just ask for your patience. I know there have been lots of changes, new faces and roller-coaster communication, but rest assured, we are getting organized. You will be seeing changes to the website, the logo and across social media. Change isn’t always easy, but I promise you when you see all the pieces come together, you will be thrilled to be a part of Michigan Movie Makers.
