Hello, Michigan Movie Makers!
This is a reminder that we have our monthly meeting coming up on Wednesday, August 27 at Up North Media/LIAA, and we will meet at 7 pm.
Morgan Burke-Byers will lead a discussion of the 10th TCFF…please come talk about your experience.
We will also talk about some of the new directions that M3 can go in. There is a group of us working on realizing the vision of Dan Kelly and Morgan, who have done a ton of work to prepare us to become a real organization. Over the next two months, you will be able to offer your opinions and visions for M3. The visioning group has some great ideas that we want to run by the members, so please come to our meetings so that you can be part of the process.
There are some great things happening in our little group, and it is growing. Our party during the film festival was a terrific success. Due to connections made at the festival, I have commitments from both Margaret O’Riley of the Michigan Film Office and Michael Moore to come to speak to us. New people are interested in joining and getting involved.
This is all very good news to M3. Please come to the upcoming meetings and be part of our growth, bringing professional opportunities and better networking for all of us.
