Original Stage Production: How Grinchy Met The Who

Hello M3! It’s Lesley Tye here. Though I’m usually writing plays for the screen I’ve done something a little different lately and have written and directed what I like to call a Mash-Up Rock ‘n Roll Musical Christmas Parody Show for the stage.

Specifically it’s a parody of the classic Christmas narrative How The Grinch Stole Christmas as seen through lens of the 1970s psychedelic rock opera Tommy by The Who. Yes, you read that right. It’s the Grinch meets Tommy and The Whos down in Whoville as you’ve never seen them before.

I’m really proud of this production and would love to see many of my fellow M3ers out there in the audience (I am also performing in this one). If you like rock music, dance, comedy, improv, and generally a good time – please join us!

This Friday, Dec 6, and Saturday, Dec 7 – 7:30pm @ InsideOut Gallery

Tickets are only $15 in advance ($18 at the door) through Brown Paper Tickets. You can read more about the show and our mission (we hope to do many more of these) here.
