M3 meeting report

Our September 2013 meeting demonstrated once again that we’ve definitely have an industry in the making. We filled the conference room at LIAA with many of the usual suspects and some fresh recruits. News was shared and possible collaborations pondered. There’s a lot going on – which shouldn’t be surprising considering the varying levels of experience and range of objectives we represent.

What emerged from this meeting is that among our many laudable goals, M3 could benefit from a journalistic presence to report on our proto-industry. As we know more about each other, we increase our opportunities for pooling our skills and resources and growing the big picture. This expands on the concept of having a talent database into something that evolves and changes with us.

We’ll be back together next month to pick up on M3’s effort to create a more structured organization and build infrastructure.
