Northern Michigan Musician’s Journal seeks Director/Control Room

We are going on our third year, and have enjoyed the recognition of longevity. Northern Michigan Musician’s Journal is a series  primarily recorded at the studios of UpNorth Media, in the LIAA building. Our goal is to showcase local entertainment and meet and interview the artists. Through time we have had guests from Texas, and Canterbury England. We have had beginners and seasoned professionals as guests.

A requirement to use the equipment at UpNorth Media is to go through their training program(s). For residents in the Traverse area, these are at no cost. The show records once or twice a month.  The show airs on the average of three times a week for approximately a month. There have been times when we have had up to three shows airing in a month. Some of these were “specials” which were on site or vintaged recordings.

As a performer, I play at clubs, street corners and parties and occasionally need a videographer. I have entertainer friens always looking for a good camera person or editor. For any activity not related to the show, there is payment involved. Many of the acts on our show often need video and they are free to employ your services.

About northwulf

When I was born the doctor slapped my mom....then he said mom, your son is artistic. My dad seen art as something unstable, not a good career move. So today I am a Medical Catastrophic Case Manager/Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist. This career has afforded me the ability to write songs and play music on the weekends, and often to play for my clientele. Dad never mentioned that "All the world is a stage" although he did say that when times are hard, "wine women and song" will always sell. Currently I am catching up with story boards, graphic design manipulation and movie editing. Mom always said, do what ever you want....here I am!
