People and the Olive

On Wednesday November 28 the Michigan Movie Makers host a screening of The People and the Olive, followed by a technical Q and A with filmmakers Aaron Dennis live and Jacob Wheeler via Skype.

Though The P and O explores a political topic – the planting of olive trees in occupied Palestine – this evening is less about the why of the movie and more about the how. We’ll be asking Aaron and Jacob to discuss their storytelling choices and elaborate on the planning, production and completion of the project. For example, how did Aaron find the time to pull off so many signature time lapse sequences while chasing runners every day?

This will be an evening of getting our geek on while recognizing the stellar effort of local filmmakers as only their peers can. This is a free event! To attend please RSVP m3@michiganmoviemakers.com, include your name and how many attending.
